Energy & Conservation WebQuest
Introduction
Have you ever wondered what would happen if our world ran out of gasonline? What if you could no longer drink cans of pop because we ran out of aluminum. Well, welcome to Energy & Conservation WebQuest.
This webquest will enable you to look up and answer these questions as well as
finding out what renewable and nonrenewable resources are and how science and technology is used to overcome physical, social, economic and/or environmental problems that our world has.
Task-
You will be researching and gathering information to develop a power point presentation to represent renewable and nonrenewable resources and conserving energy. You will also create a brochure that represents the 3 R's, recycle, reuse and reduce to display to others in your community.
Process-
You will look at websites provided to answer questions and learn about conflicting opinions worldwide in regards to the importance of renewable and nonrenewable resources.

Day 1
Go to Vocabulary document to discuss possible vocabulary words needed for this unit. Read together the class objectives, gle's and upcoming assignments and projects.
Day 2
Engage in a discussion of what resources are and how they are renewable and nonrenewable. Be sure to take notes.
Day 3
Look at a world map website to locate different countries where resources are used.

Begin project of developing a Power Point Presentation that answers the questions found in the questions below. Also use the Rubric provided to follow all requirements for Power Point.
